Capabilities:

Creative Educational Concepts, Inc. (CEC) is a full-service CME/CE provider. In the course of providing services of an educational and professional nature, the company creates, accredits, produces, and delivers educational programs and associated materials. CEC offers a number of live program formats, as well as distance education.

Accreditation Services:

CEC operates among the elite few in the accredited provider community to earn Joint Accreditation™ from three professional organizations. Joint Accreditation™ was made available for the first time in 2010. It includes endorsements from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and recognizes organizations that offer team-focused continuing education to healthcare providers with the ultimate goal of improving patient care.

We also offer CE/CME activity application and approval services for the following disciplines:

  • CCMC - Commission for Case Manager Certification
  • AAFP - American Academy of Family Physicians
  • AOA - American Osteopathic Association
  • Additional application/approval services available upon request.

Compliance with the Physicians Payment Sunshine Act (Sunshine Act):

The Physician Payments Sunshine Act (Sunshine Act), which was part of the Affordable Care Act requires manufacturers of drugs, medical devices, and biologics that participate in U.S. federal health care programs to report certain payments and items of value given to physicians and teaching hospitals. While ACCME accredited medical education has limited emphasis within the Sunshine Act, CEC is knowledgeable about all aspects of compliance and best practices with the Sunshine Act and is prepared to provide applicable reporting data to commercial interests, if necessary.

Joint Providership/Collaboration Opportunities:

In support of improving patient care, Creative Educational Concepts, Inc. (CEC) is accredited by the the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CEC is committed to enhancing the field of health care education. One of our best approaches to accomplishing this is through collaboration. We are pleased to offer experienced joint sponsorship services for our non-accredited education partners.
